User Profile
The User Profile page is where you can customise your settings.
About
On the left about page you can add in your details. The names will help in logging who changed what in the changelog if you prefer to use names rather than just emails.
You can also choose to change your password here.
HeviSpec Settings
Unit Settings
Here you can set some defaults for HeviSpec. These only apply when you create a new vehicle.
- If you dislike metres being the default units you can change it to millimetres or inches or feet!
- Unit Visibility is for hiding the units on the dimensions. If you prefer to have just a number without having the 'm' or 'mm' at the end you can turn it off here.
Both of these settings are also vehicle specific on the HeviSpec page.
Grid Settings
The default ground on HeviSpec is a grid to help you with your dimensioning. You can change the colours of the grid as well as the spacings.
Lastly is the Mesh Cache. Our 3D meshes are cached on your browser to increase the loading speed of vehicles. However if we or yourself update meshes, the old meshes are still cached. This is only to help you save space on your computer if it gets too large. There is no performance degradation on size.
NHVR API Key
This is a placeholder for now. We plan to integrate with the NHVR API to make Vehicle Applications more streamlined.
Styling
This is where you can edit your default colours and materials. This colour palette is used throughout the site. It can be used to change the colour of materials on vehicles or to change the colours of swept paths.
Default Background Colour: If you dislike the default colour on the Vehicle Builder scene, you can change it here! Default Dimension Colour: Similarly if you dislike the default white dimension colours you can change it here! Warning: Some colour combinations may make it hard to see.
Material Palette
This is if you want even more customisation. Usually our meshes come with materials already, however if you want to change the material you can upload your own or choose from our selection.
Site Theme
We have different site theme options, such as a dark mode as well. Some components of the site may not work as well as we are still developing compatibility. The recommended is the Default Theme for now.
